However, E-Gov has a limited scope in Brazil, since less than one in ten households has their own computer. By contrast, there are at least a TV in about 90% of Brazilian homes. Because of this, the E-Gov was adapted for television - being called a T-Government (T-Gov) - a very feasible way of achieving much of the population, and making services more accessible and easier to be used. The T-Gov must be driven by the low cost of receivers and converters of the digital signal, price more acessible than a computer.
 | Intacto believes that the government can exert a big influence in the process of digital inclusion, as can be a great incentive for the use of interactivity. One example would be the availability of some obrigatory services also on television, such as income tax declaration. |
